Transport, Export, Import & Documents
Does Mandai Bazaar arrange transport?
No. Buyer and seller arrange collection, transport or delivery directly or through an independent provider.
Who chooses the transport company?
The parties decide this in writing and should verify the provider, insurance and vehicle-handling experience.
When does transport risk transfer?
The written contract should define the exact handover point and who carries risk at each stage.
Is transport insurance necessary?
Confirm what is covered, the insured value, exclusions, deductible and claims process before collection.
Who prepares export documents?
Buyer and seller must agree responsibilities. Qualified customs or export professionals may be required.
Which vehicle documents may be needed?
Registration papers, ownership evidence, invoice or contract, VIN information, inspection records and country-specific export documents.
Who checks import rules?
The buyer must verify destination-country age, emissions, steering, safety, customs and registration requirements before purchase.
Who pays customs duties and taxes?
The contract should state responsibility. Amounts depend on origin, destination, value and applicable law.
Are export or temporary plates included?
Only if the seller expressly confirms this in writing. Also verify insurance, validity period and permitted countries.
Can a vehicle be driven home?
Only when legally registered, roadworthy, insured and driven by an appropriately licensed driver.
What should I check before collection?
Confirm identity, VIN, condition, mileage, documents, keys, accessories, payment status and handover record.
What if customs or registration refuses the vehicle?
Mandai Bazaar cannot guarantee import or registration. Verify eligibility with competent authorities before buying.
